Today our students read Thunder Cake by Patricia Pollacco and practiced sequencing the events in the story. We learned new time order words and then applied our knowledge to sequence the events from Freckle Juice, a book we just finished last week. Ask your child about their lesson and their thundering!!!

I had a lot of fun reading Thunder Cake .I liked doing the thunder and ordering the ingredients of it and I liked reading Freckle juice beacause I liked when at the end the story was going to be retold but with Nickey Lane.
I loved thunder cake! I went last weekend to see if the author was there but it was right befor 12 o'clock so we ate there with the leftover time.When we were waiting for our food.Then daddy looked at the message on his phone and lt wasent till next weekend.
It was fun doing the activity on that day.I hope to do something like that again!
