Cosmic Capers
Our class participated in Cosmic Capers today from Hi Tech, Hi Touch. Science Stan helped us launch a rocket, feel gyroscopic force, and much more! Students, what was your favorite investigation? What did you learn?

National Children's Book Week May 2-6th
National Children’s Book Week - May 2-6th
In celebration of National Children’s Book Week, May 2nd- May 6th, Sparks will be participating in the following activities.
Bookmark Contest
Students from each grade will design a bookmark and turn it in to the library by the end of the school day Thursday. Bookmarks will be judged and prizes given to the 2 winning bookmarks from each grade level.
Guess The Reader!
Students will have the opportunity to guess the reader on a poster in the library. The student with the most correct answers will receive a prize from the library.
D.E.A.R. time
The entire school will drop everything and read on Thursday, May 5th from 8:00-8:30am. Teachers, this includes you!
Students
All students with no overdue books can enter their name into a drawing for a poster or cool bookmark!

Being "Uncool"
Our class has made a commitment to try our hardest to find some ways to be "uncool" in positive ways. That means going against what others tell us is possible and just doing what is right. We're excited about our new mission!
